Who is CCEO?
The Council of Caribbean Engineering Organisations (CCEO) is the regional umbrella body that represents the interest of engineering and engineers in the Commonwealth Caribbean. CCEO`s raison d`etre is to advance the science, art and practice of engineering in the public interest, and for this purpose inter alia:-
(a) to group the organisations of professional engineers in different Caribbean countries into one regional organisation and to promote the establishment of professional engineering organisations where such do not exist;
(b) to study, promote and protect in common the professional interests of member engineering organisations;
(c) to foster cooperation and the exchange of information concerning engineering matters among the members and to facilitate co-operation with other regional and international organisations collaborating in technical affairs;
(d) to set up standards and rules of professional conduct for engineers in conformity with the responsibility and dignity of the profession and to watch over their application and observance;
(e) to encourage the maximum use of the members from the various regional engineering organisations in the social and economic development of the region;
